Rachel smallRachel Dineley

Rachel and her husband moved to Amersham in 1985. She joined the Amersham Playgoers Theatre Group: a great way to participate in the local community. After a career as a City solicitor specialising in employment and discrimination law, she took early retirement in 2016. She is the Diversity Officer for C&A Liberal Democrats, and provides diversity and inclusion workshops for local charities. She is also a member of the Green Issues working group of Amersham Community Board. Rachel wants to see Amersham thrive as a community with opportunities for everyone , of all ages and backgrounds, making the most of our beautiful green spaces and the built environment.

Kate Reed Kate Reed

Kate has lived in Amersham since 2010 with husband Ed. They chose the town as an ideal place to start a family - and now have two young children. She joined the choir of St Michael and All Angels Church and helped to organise the opening celebrations for St Michael's Square. She served on the PCC at St Michael's for three years, before joining the Chesham & Amersham Liberal Democrats Executive Committee in 2019. Kate has a Master's degree in journalism and worked at the Press Association for 14 years before joining a digital content agency in Beaconsfield. She is passionate about the wellbeing of people and planet and wants to ensure everyone can equally access and enjoy the benefits our great town has to offer.

Simon Standish Simon Standish

Simon has been a local resident for over 30 years. His children have gone to local schools and he and his wife Debbie are connected to many local groups. Simon has been a non Executive Director on the local hospital Board and works as a management consultant with a particular interest in health and social care both within the UK and internationally. Much of this time over the past five years has been devoted to supporting statutory and voluntary sectors organisations and groups to work together to integrate their services.
