Frances KnellerFrances Kneller

Frances is passionate about social justice, addressing inequality and environmental sustainability. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing, with a degree in Social Sciences, she spent much of her career in developing national housing policy, before setting up her own Housing Consultancy and Property Management companies. She is currently a Board member of Hightown Housing Association. Frances is the Chair of the Chesham Youth Centre and the Chiltern ToyBank. Chris SpruytenburgChristopher Spruytenburg

Chris is a former mayor of Chesham, and has been both a Chiltern District and Chesham Town councillor. Having lived in the Chilterns for 33 years, he is most concerned about the effect HS2 will have on the local environment. Tunnelling will damage the aquifer and the track has already irreparably destroyed precious woodland. Christopher is also standing as a Unitary Candidate for Great Missenden.

Kris O HeadKris (Krzysztof) Ochedowski

Kris Ochedowski is a teacher who has worked in a variety of educational settings (including prison education) both in the UK and abroad. He is currently curriculum manager for a small independent college in London. Born in Amersham, and currently living in Chesham, he is part of the vibrant post-war Polish community who settled in the Chilterns. An alumnus of Chesham High School, he has a BA (Hons.) in Italian, and PGCE. His areas of interest include dealing with anti-social behaviour, lifelong learning, and supporting local opportunities for young people. Kris is also standing as a Unitary Candidate for Chesham. KhizarKhizar Khurshid

Khizar came to Chesham after completing his education in Kashmir and has lived here for 28 years. He is married with three children, all of whom studied in Chesham. He works for Chiltern Railways.

Khizar wants to help make Chesham Town Council a "can-do" council. If elected, he will work to put projects in place to build a more prosperous and sustainable Chesham. He will bring energy and new ideas to the table and will work with others to make sure that Chesham remains a great place for us and our children to live.
