Roy AbrahamRoy Abraham

Roy has lived in Chesham since 1981 having spent 16 years as a banker in the City and more recently with the Thames Valley Police as a Member of the Complaints, Integrity & Ethics Panel. He was a Community Engagement Advisor with the Chiltern Clinical Commissioning Group and worked as a Business & Finance officer at one of the largest local authorities in London. As an accredited business advisor to SMEs in the borough, he was engaged in dealing with small businesses, helping them acquire management, financial and business skills. Elected in 1995, Roy served as a Councillor on Chesham Town & Chiltern District Councils and was Chesham Mayor in 2003/4. Roy is also standing as a Unitary Candidate for Chess Valley. Parveiz AslamParveiz Aslam MBE

Parveiz is a semi-retired teacher who has lived in Chesham since 1982. He is married and has three children, all of whom have graduated from local schools. Due to his extensive local work, he received a Queen's honours in 2008 for the services to the community of Chesham and Bucks. He is currently involved in a leadership, coaching and advisory capacity in a broad range of charities including South East Sunday Cricket league, National Asian Cricket Council, The Citizens Foundation, The Community Heartbeat Trust, Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator for Sunnyside Road, Chesham Mosque, Chesham Asian Welfare Society and Chesham Help for Coronavirus, to mention just a few! Hazel RymerHazel Rymer

Hazel and her husband have lived in Chesham for 30 years and brought up two boys who attended local primary and Grammar schools. Hazel is a scientist and academic who retired this year from a career of research, teaching and university management. Her voluntary work includes public engagement with science, Riding for the Disabled and previously, The Scouts. She is passionate about environmental issues and making life safer for local residents.

Ruth JuettRuth Juett

Ruth has lived in Chesham for 12 years, Ruth's career has spanned many years as a Chief Officer for an N.G.O. specialising in minority communities. Now retired, Ruth volunteers at a Francis Chapter 2 bookshop in Chesham. She is also currently training as an administrator for a UK/European based animal rescue.
